What is Midwest PETS?

Midwest President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS): Preparing Rotary Leaders for Impact

The Rotary Midwest President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) is one of the largest multi-district PETS in the United States. Established in 2012, Midwest PETS was designed to be a premier leadership development event, fostering an atmosphere that mirrors a mini Rotary International Convention.

By leveraging the expertise and collective resources of six Rotary districts—6220, 6250, 6270, 6420, 6440, and 6450—Midwest PETS serves Rotary members from Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. This collaboration enables us to provide world-class training, dynamic speakers, and an unparalleled opportunity for networking and fellowship.

With over 500 attendees, Midwest PETS is dedicated to equipping incoming club leaders with the knowledge and motivation to lead effectively. Our tailored leadership tracks include training for club presidents-elect, presidents-elect nominees, incoming club secretaries, and assistant governors. Through engaging workshops, in-depth district training sessions, and inspiring keynote presentations, attendees leave Midwest PETS empowered and prepared for their year of service.

Midwest PETS is more than just training—it’s an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and embrace the Rotary spirit of leadership and service.

Mission

Midwest PETS prepares Rotary leaders by providing the knowledge, tools, and connections needed to inspire, motivate, and educate them for success in their roles.
