Join us for Rotary Connect & Lead 2026, a one-day professional development conference designed to inspire, equip, and connect Rotarians at every stage of their leadership journey. Whether you're a new member, an emerging leader, or a seasoned Rotarian, you'll gain practical skills, fresh ideas, and meaningful connections that you can apply in Rotary, your career, your volunteer organizations, and everyday life.

Through engaging workshops led by experienced facilitators, you'll explore today's most relevant leadership and professional development topics while connecting with fellow Rotarians from across District 6270. The conference is designed to be interactive, practical, and immediately applicable, providing valuable takeaways you can put into action right away.

Workshop Topics

Participants will have the opportunity to customize their day by selecting workshops that best match their interests and goals. Topics include:

  • LeadershipManaging Volunteers Like a Pro
  • Learn practical strategies for leading and motivating volunteers without formal authority. Explore effective delegation, meaningful recognition, volunteer engagement, and techniques for preventing burnout while building committed, high-performing teams.
  • Culture – Creating a Team People Want to Belong To
  • Discover how intentional culture shapes the success of any team, committee, club, or organization. Learn strategies for fostering belonging, embracing flexibility, creating meaningful meetings, and designing experiences that keep people engaged, valued, and inspired to contribute
  • Technical Tools – Catch the Thief: Reclaim Your Day
  • Your day is being quietly stolen by habits you may not even notice. Identify the biggest productivity "thieves" and discover simple, practical, tool-agnostic strategies to reclaim your time, improve focus, and work more efficiently—no technical expertise required.
  • Networking & Social Capital – Build meaningful relationships, expand your professional network, and strengthen your influence through authentic connections.
  • Emotional Intelligence – Strengthen skills in active listening, conflict resolution, giving and receiving feedback, and building trust to become a more effective leader and teammate.
  • Personal Branding – Define your personal leadership style and learn how to communicate your strengths and values with confidence and authenticity.
  • Community Engagement – Explore strategies for building partnerships, increasing visibility, and creating greater impact within your community.
  • Effective Communication – Improve your public speaking, storytelling, and communication skills to better engage, inform, and inspire others in any setting.

Each workshop will be offered twice - once in the morning and once in the afternoon - allowing participants the flexibility to attend multiple sessions while giving facilitators the opportunity to engage with a larger audience.
