November is Rotary Foundation Month and there is no better time than November 7th to celebrate the impact made by our very own Rotarians & Rotoractors.

The evening begins with a social hour. Following dinner, District 6270 will recognize individual's contributions to the Rotary Foundation. Also, a showcase of our Clubs' projects will be presented with insight into how District Grants and Rotary International Grants play a part in supporting them. To finish the evening's program, we have a special guest, Patricia Shafer, as our Keynote Speaker. Patricia is the Executive Director at NewGen Peacebuilders and has an incredible story to share with us (Read more about her work below).

About Our Keynote Speaker - Patricia Shafer, Executive Director at NewGen Peacebuilders
Patricia is a Senior Fellow for Peace Education at the Alliance for Peacebuilding, a Rotary Peace Fellow, a Rotary Positive Peace Activator, and a Global Peace Ambassador for Rotary strategic partner Institute for Economics & Peace.
In addition to her official peacebuilding work, Patricia is Chief Catalyst and Executive Director of the international nonprofit Mothering Across Continents through which education projects are managed in several countries in East Africa. Previously, Patricia held senior positions in change management, communications, and corporate affairs in two global Fortune 100 companies. She holds an MSc in Consulting and Coaching for Change – a joint venture of Oxford University, UK, and HEC France; an MBA, from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management; and MA, Journalism from Ohio State University.
