Celebrate Community Week, set for September 8-14, 2024, is approaching, and with it comes an opportunity for meaningful collaboration across service organizations. This annual event brings together members of Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, and Optimist clubs for joint service projects that address key community needs.   1. In Oahu, Hawaii, USA, the Lions Club of Mana Loa Nimitz partnered with the Rotary Club of Pearlridge to clean and paint over graffiti on a pedestrian overpass near Aiea Elementary School, beautifying the area and fostering community pride.
  2. In Istanbul, Turkey, the Sariyer Leo Club and Sariyer Rotaract Club collaborated with a local association to prepare and distribute meals to 250 individuals in need, demonstrating the power of service to provide warmth and sustenance.
