Attention: Non-profit Charitable 501 (c) (3) Organizations in the West Bend Area

The West Bend Sunrise Rotary Club is continuing its invitation for non-profits in the area to submit an application for the 2014 $15,000 Give-Away. This fundraising activity is held to help at least one non-profit charitable 501 (c) (3) organization in the West Bend area to accomplish a creative project or begin a new service. Recipient(s) may not use this award for profit-making or administrative or staff salaries or benefits.

The project or service should have a local focus, positively impact a great number of people and meet the Rotary’s 4-Way Test. The 4-Way Tests asks:

Is it the Truth?

Is it Fair to all concerned?

Will it build Goodwill and better Friendships?

Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

Organizations that meet these criteria and would like to apply for the award may download an application at www.westbendsunriserotary.org or contact event chair Candy Sarauer at 262-689-9569 or any West Bend Sunrise Rotary member for an application. All applications must be received by January 6, 2013.

Tickets for the $15,000 Give-Away will be on sale early in 2014. Cost is $100 per ticket and entitles the bearer to a dinner for 2 (including drinks), the opportunity to win cash and prizes, and also to participate in a silent auction and dessert auction the evening of the event.
