November is Rotary Foundation Month and there is no better time than November 6th to celebrate the impact made by our very own Rotarians & Rotaractors.

The evening begins with a social hour. Following dinner, District 6270 will recognize individual's contributions to the Rotary Foundation, and our second annual Rotary District 6270 Agent of Peace Awards. Also, a showcase of our Clubs' projects will be presented with insight into how District Grants and Rotary International Grants play a part in supporting them. To finish the evening's program, we have a special guest, Jonathan Ward, as our Keynote Speaker. His presentation will be, "Rotarians Promoting Peace Locally and Globally".(Read more about him below).

About Our Keynote Speaker - Jonathan Ward
Jon is a retired U.S. diplomat. Now a member of the Rotary Club of Milwaukee, he was a member of the Rotary Club of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and the Rotary Club of Calcutta, India while posted abroad. He also served in Brazil, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Jon was Director of Distribution Operations for Briggs & Stratton and Director of Logistics for Batteries Plus. He holds J.D., MBA, and BS degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is an Army veteran.
Jon is a Major Donor and a member of the Paul Harris and Legacy Societies, and recently became a Rotary Positive Peace Activator.
