Visioning training provides Rotary Clubs with a 3- to 5-year plan for the future. Upon completion of training, clubs will have a club-specific slogan and an insightful plan.
District 6220 and 6270 Rotarians gathered in the Fall of 2009 to become trained in doing Rotary Club Vision Facilitation. Nineteen people attended from District 6270, they were: DGN Nancy Rhodes, Don Drecktrah, Lee Breese, Ann & Steve Affeldt, West Allis Rotary; PDG Tamie Koop, Sandy Bosin, Waukesha Sunrise Rotary; Brian Monroe, Alicia Nichols, Mequon-Thiensville Sunrise Rotary; Mary Beth Seiser, West Bend Sunrise Rotary; Cecil Streeter, Oshkosh Southwest Rotary; Tre Waldren, Berlin Rotary; Deb Bruckshen, Judy Slawny, Sheboygan Rotary; Bob Hollman, Whitnall Park Rotary; Diana Wolf, GSE Alumni, Ron Jones, Elmbrook Rotary; Bob Hosch, Lake Country-Hartland Rotary; and Hibbie Hayslette, Mitchell Field Rotary Club.

The Visioning trainers will come to Rotary Clubs in a team of either 3-4 individuals to facilitate Rotary Clubs who desire to do this visioning. This is neither a District nor a RI program; it is a program of “Best Practices”. Clubs do need to supply the supplies and accommodate the room set-up needs. Clubs desiring to do a Visioning are invited to contact Nancy Rhodes or Tamie Koop.
District 6270 individuals and Rotary clubs desiring assistance with Visioning should register with Tamie Koop, PDG. Registration accepted via email only. A confirmation email will be sent.
Visioning Training participants can include club officers (including the President Elect and President Elect Nominee), new members, long time Rotarians, etc.
Nancy Rhodes, DGN, District 6270 Visioning Coordinator will match up facilitators and Rotary Clubs on dates requested. A Visioning team consists of 3-4 trained facilitators. A materials list will be provided to each club for a training. Club Training will be Monday through Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 8:30 pm, with a light supper. It is recommended that Rotary Clubs over 30 members select 30 Rotarians to participate in the Visioning process. If club membership is over 30 people, then it is recommended that the club register 30 people. Visioning training is voluntary.
