Youth Protection Update

New Year -- Now is the time to get your Youth Protection paperwork in order

Club leadership is reminded that ANNUALLY, (best always after the change over on July 1, into the new Rotary year) background record checks need to be done on Rotarians that are working one on one with youth (under the age of 30, per RI guidelines). This year, prior to October 1st, the fee is $10.00 / check / person. After October 1st, the fee goes up to $14.95 per check.
Additionally, in order to have a background record check done -- new Rotarians/individuals on your list for Youth work (Club Youth Service Committee) will need a NEW Volunteer Affidavit to be completed. Rotarians who have submitted a Volunteer Affidavit within the last 3 years are good with their existing affidavit. You can find the Volunteer Affidavit form located on the D6270 website -- under site pages.
Clubs with Rotary Youth Exchange Inbound students are held to a higher level of compliance because of the regulations.
