 Registration Assistant Chair Needed

To:  D6270 PDGs, AGs, Past AGs and Past Club Presidents,
 
A vacancy has occurred at Midwest PETS (President Elect Training Seminar).  We are in need of a Vice-Chair of Registration for PETS. 
 
Expectations:
”The successful chair of registration will be a logical thinker with experience using a database.  The person needs to be well organized and able to meet time specific objectives.  It is helpful if the person is readily available to respond to requests for information from other chairs or the DGE’s, particularly from December 1 through PETS weekend in March.”
 
Background:
Much of the registration function has been automated using RegOnline, a database/web interface registration and event management program. 
 
Registration handles information for over 500 people attending the annual March weekend multi-district training meeting in Illinois.
This person would serve as Vice-Chair, and on the departure of the Chair, could be eligible to be considered for service as Registration Chair of Midwest PETS.
 
This person would serve as a staff member on the PETS Council.
Workload includes four meetings per year, attendance at MidWest PETS, communication and work outside of meetings.
 
Qualifications:
Preference will be given to a person who has served as a Club President and who is interested in taking a larger role in Rotary with the PETS Council.
 
This position needs a person who is comfortable with both web and database technology.
 
The position requires a person who has excellent communication skills.
