Meet District 6270's Global Scholar
During the 2015-2016 Rotary year our district will be sponsoring a Global Scholar. Competition was fierce, and Alla Kadadha was chosen from a field of seven applicants. She is a graduate of Alverno College and holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Philosophy. Next year she will be pursuing her Master's degree in Conflict Resolution in Divided Societies at the Middle Eastern Institute of King's College in London, England. After graduating from Alverno, Alla moved to the Palestinian Territories where she managed communication and grant writing campaigns to promote educational reform and youth empowerment. Alla gave an excellent presentation at the West Bend Sunrise Club on April 21st and is ready to pursue her education and a future career in conflict resolution.
